LAIDE BAKARE AND ENIOLA BADMUS CLASH AT A MOVIE PREMIER

    Tension flared between Nollywood stars Laide Bakare and Eniola Badmus during the premiere of Owambe Thieves, a film by Eniola Aja, held on Sunday at Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos.

A viral video that surfaced on Monday captured a heated exchange between the two actresses. The footage shows Laide Bakare confronting Eniola Badmus in a loud argument, at one point asking her, “Are you mentally okay?”—a comment that visibly irritated Badmus, who simply gave a cold stare and walked away.

A man in a suit, believed to be Badmus’ bodyguard, attempted to de-escalate the situation, but Bakare refused to back down and continued the confrontation.

Following the incident, Bakare took to Instagram to share screenshots of a private conversation between her and Badmus. In the messages, Eniola slammed Bakare for posting an unflattering photo of her online, calling it “animalistic behavior.”

      In response, Laide Bakare didn’t hold back. In her caption, she labeled Eniola an “ingrate,” and claimed that she was the first to give Eniola a major movie role at a time when others allegedly refused to cast her due to her size.

The incident has since sparked widespread discussion online, with fans and fellow actors reacting to the public fallout between the two Nollywood personalities.
